Based on Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Cao Cao, in the journey to the capital, is attacked by Yellow Turban warriors. He is given the choice to have a magical weapon, with the high price as his adopted grandfather's, Cao Teng's, life. Guan Yu, in the road to return his hometown, knows his brother killed by Liu Bei. He fights Liu Bei but later he knows the truth about his brother's greed. He becomes Liu Bei's sworn brother and later Zhang Fei joins them.
