“NIMBY”(not in my backyard) phenomenon, bribery, corruption is rampant in imaginary villages called Dongdok (east village) and Seodok (west village). Expensive condos comprise Dongdok, and in Seodok , they are mostly cheap housing projects. All they care about is whether their land value is going up or down, and the education of the kids is not their priority. The principal and the director of the board at Dokil high school only care about how many students get enrolled at colleges. Now a new teacher comes to a new post here at Dokil high school, causing quite a stir in both villages.   “Gaun Cha”, a new teacher who is so set on being a good teacher plays the role of conciliator and mediator.
