What if modern alcoholic beverages were introduced into a world where brewing technology was still at a medieval European level? One day, Japan found itself able to travel to and from another world. Keen to gain access to the vast lands and resources of this other world, the government devised a plan to subjugate its people not through ‘military force’, but through modern ‘alcohol’. Caught up in this scheme is Touji, a hopeless university student and an unrivalled lover of alcohol.
