Someone Who Praises Someone Who Is Praised

Eiko Ichikawa, a clerk at a toy company, works hard but inconspicuously every day. One day, her manager points out a small mistake and lectures her. Even though she usually does well at her job, she doesn't feel appreciated, and she is scolded for a single mistake, which seems unfair… Eiko is dejected, until Bando, the director's right-hand man, notices and invites her to dinner. Eiko is worried about what he might say to her, but contrary to her fears, Bando only has nice things to say! However, his "praise" seems a little over the top…?

Eiko's boss has a peculiar way of praising her! A strange but heartwarming workplace comedy!
