Spica and Voices of Books

The free city of Tablo. Spica, an elf girl who arrived in this city known as the "Paradise of Books," applies to become an apprentice to Lezac, a young bookbinder, but is rejected because she cannot read. However, Lezac is captivated by Spica's special power to "hear the voices of books" and her mysterious charm, and decides to take her on as his apprentice. Lezac is skilled but not good at communicating, while Spica, with her rich sensibilities, brings a new perspective to bookmaking. As the two work hard to revive the failing workshop, they come into contact with a variety of jobs and people, and discover the richness of the world surrounding books.
