Shizuru Amami, a large and extremely shy caregiver, spots a young man attempting to drown himself in the sea late at night and rescues him. When he escorts the young man, Yuuri, who claims to have no money, no smartphone, and no reliable parents, back to his home, Shizuru finds a room in such disarray that it seems impossible anyone could live there. Shizuru, who sees Yuuri's extreme rejection of any concern, is reminded of his childhood friend who committed suicide.
