Description

An antique fantasy about an eccentric teacher and a tea bowl that is inhabited by a tsukumogami spirit.

One spring day in Ashiya, Hyogo Prefecture, a man unearths a beautiful tea bowl in his garden. The bowl is home to a tsukumogami spirit, whom the man names Shiro-san. They begin living together. Though Shiro-san has no memory of when or how he came to exist, he eventually learns that the bowl is actually a Shiro Tenmoku masterpiece and a national treasure that was once cherished by the Sengoku-period warlord Oda Nobunaga...
