Description

1965, Japan. At that time, manga was still considered a pastime for children. But in a small publishing house located on the upper floor of a shabby wooden building, a group of men gathered to try to create a new type of manga. Fumito “Bunjin” Shimizu, editor-in-chief of Manga Story magazine, fished the first issue of an amateur fanzine out of the trash. One of its creators, Kazuhiko Katou, would later become known by the pseudonym “Monkey Punch”... And so destiny took its course!
