The sudden death of her older brother Kiichiro brings high schooler Kanoko all the way from Tokyo to Hiroshima to visit his grave alongside his past lover, Hijiri. Promising her brother she would protect Hijiri after Kiichiro's passing, Kanoko finds herself falling in love with Hijiri despite herself. She pledges to keep visiting Hijiri in his and Kiichiro's old home in Hiroshima until Hijiri falls for her too.
