A manga adaptation of Kazuo Ishiguro's award-winning novel The Remains of the Day (titled Hi no Nagori in Japanese).
The original 1989 novel centers on Stevens, a butler long in the service of an English aristocrat named Lord Darlington. He recounts his years of service in his employer's estate, first with a romantic nostalgia, and then with slow admission of his employer's true colors.
