It’s okay to be shy is a story about a man and a girl who have an “opposite” personality of their gender. Hyo Jin is a freshman who has more girl friends than boy friends. He is a bit of a crybaby, and is more feminine than masculine. Dam is a sophomore who has more boy friends than girl friends. She is the opposite of a stereotypical girl, and is more masculine than feminine. It’s based on true stories including the author's own experiences.
