The peaceful Earth came to an unjust end. A mysterious object calling itself "God" appeared in the sky above Tokyo. Five messengers heralded death. Australia was reduced to ashes, and the United States was destroyed. Japan ceased to function. The death toll on the first day was 1.1 billion. Katsura Shirushi, whose respected father, the Prime Minister, was killed, sought "power" to resist them.
