The protagonist, Momota, works for a small security company near the Kanto region. He is a good-natured but empty 24-year-old who lives his life in servitude to "what is considered right" - the law, company rules, common sense... After finishing his familiar job directing traffic as usual, Momota gets a phone call from the company president. He is told to head to a farm to guard against vermin from the next day.
