Fujita works at the local Chinese restaurant, Rairaitei, alongside his grandfather, the restaurant's owner. One day, when he opens his rice cake to order a delivery, he finds a mysterious sea otter inside! After being persuaded by the rather eloquent sea otter, he ends up letting him stay.
