Era of the Great Floating Ship: Adventures of Genta

A children's action fantasy manga set in a world where airships are the main means of transportation. It tells the story of Genta, a prank-loving boy with above-average reflexes, who lives in Stone Village with his close friend, Suzu, and her grandfather. Her grandfather, Dr. Pepper (yes, for real) is an inventor aiming to advance airship engine technology, in order to enable airships to explore the far reaches of the world--places beyond the edges of their current maps. However, not everyone is impressed with Dr. Pepper's efforts, as bounty hunters abduct both him and Suzu! Genta "borrows" a small airship and sets off on a journey to rescue them--he may be seeing those far reaches of the world a lot sooner than he thinks!
