After losing her older brother(a prodigious ice hockey player) in a traffic accident, Izumi Kazama resolves to turn her life around and transfers to the prestigious Seijo Daiichi High School in Tokyo. However, the ice hockey team is in shambles, having been suspended from competition for a year following a violent incident, and Izumi’s passion only serves to rub the upperclassmen (who have turned into delinquents) the wrong way. Izumi’s steely gaze as she endures a hazing-like entrance test moves the heart of the captain, Tokito. Next, all freshmen are required to take an entrance test to assess their ice hockey skills, and six students, including Izumi, pass. A practice match against the upperclassmen is scheduled for a month later, but the freshmen lack a wing player. Izumi is assigned the position, but they are still one player short, so he manages to recruit Sera, a classmate who was known as a “genius wing” in middle school. After a fierce battle against the upperclassmen, the prestigious Seijo Daiichi High School Ice Hockey Club is reborn.
