Silk Romance

Early Meiji era: as civilization develops at a dizzying pace, Suzu arrives becomes a silk mill leader and meets a beautiful Frenchman named Jules. He came to Japan as a hired foreigner, not being able to speak the language, he felt so lonely he retreated into his shell.
