After spending New Year’s in Las Vegas (and attending a rather eye-opening poolside party at a fancy mansion), Yushi is fully relaxed and ready to continue his world trip with the Bookseller. Soon they’re on their way to England, and a reunion with their old friend the Antiquary. Things quickly go awry, though, thanks to a coin Yushi happened to come across—and the moment Yushi finally finds Antiquary, he’s instantly whisked away to a treasure hunt in the countryside!
Despite his best intentions, Yushi has been dragged into a treasure hunt with the Antiquary over in England—and with his old nemesis Javier joining the picture, his worries are growing and growing! Even worse, the Antiquary wants to take him back in time to retrieve an old religious relic. They’re going to attend a Victorian-era séance in the past, and as upper-class and elegant as things seem at first, it all falls apart rapidly…
Stuck in the past, his only friend tied up in the basement, face to face with a malicious, murderous demon, and completely bereft of his Petit-driven magic… If Yushi’s ever been in a worse predicament, he sure doesn’t have the time to think of when it was right now! Can he rescue the Antiquary and find a way out of this Victorian nightmare?!

The house was demolished ages ago…but when he arrives there with the Bookseller and Rintaro, he finds that it’s suddenly in perfect condition, back to what it used to be. What could be going on? The unfazed trio dive into the house anyway, but what could be waiting for them in there?
At the former villa of Kyozo, patriarch of the Hase family, Yushi and the Bookseller discover a secret staircase deep inside a closet! They opt to go down it, following the signs the gold coin is giving them…but will this help them seal the coin away for good? And what about Rintaro, who returned to the manor to help the children he discovered find salvation?
