About this competition which is of prime importance, they control the judges, and put pressure on some competitors worrisome. However it was not counting on the arrival of a cook who fears no pressure. Known in the culinary world for his pranks and his eccentricity, he was once involved in the murder by poisoning. Sanbanchi, a mahjong parlor in Ueno, is an old-timer and has a reputation for its delicious homemade weekly menu. Jan Kurogane, grandson of Mikijiro Kurotetsu, visits Sanbanchi to play mahjong with the owner, Kingo Sanbanchi, an acquaintance of Mikijiro. Meanwhile Otani, the president of the All Mahjong Road Federation, tries to destroy Sanbanchi by sending in various mahjong assassins. There is no end to the number of opponents he faces, regardless, Jan continues to defend his undefeated record by any means necessary.

Their plan involves drastically altering the nature of instruction and the environment of the school, and it includes the closure of the school restaurant where Futatsuki cooks. In its place, the arrogant Azumi Hinano will open a first-class restaurant, and she wastes no time in seducing the students to her side with delicious high-class food. Futatsuki despises her dismissive attitude toward ramen and her view of the students as slaves to be ruled. Will Futatsuki have the skill and support to be able to take a stand for the continued existence of the old student restaurant?
There exists a horrific newspaper called the Fear Newspaper that foretells of people’s extreme misfortunes. Kagata Mei, male high school student, has been cursed with this evil spirit and has to fight against it on a daily basis. He is forced by the Fear Newspaper to stop the events on the paper from occurring or face the consequences of his life being shortened by 100 days for every article he is unable to prevent. What makes this horrific situation even worse is that no one else but Mei can see the cursed newspaper and so he is left to undertake this task alone.
