Year 4, Kouwa era. After "The Day of Miracles," large-scale conflicts between nations ceased, and the world enjoyed a period of peace. However, conflict was not entirely eradicated. Seeds of conflict inevitably sprouted, sown by those who could not survive without conflict, those who sought wealth through conflict, and those who simply desired conflict. An organization existed to nip these seeds of conflict in the bud and prevent conflicts from escalating. Its name is "Izayoi," a secret agency established by Sumeragi Kaguya, who once served as chairman of the United Federation of Nations. Hakuba Sōga, a member of Izayoi, as Agent Shinigetsu, along with his assistant Satori, is tasked with pursuing the mysterious black Nightmare Frame, Pure Elements G.

C.E. 72 was a unique era which would later be called the "two blank years." Some also called it "the time of peace on thin ice," and others call it "the break before the oncoming frenzy." This is the story of an interval. A story that takes place between two large wars in which members of a hollow unit known as ODR risked their lives.

Set in the near future where Mother Nature has decided to fight back against all of the human encroachment. It has your standard apocalyptic scenario, but we're right in the middle of the apocalypse actually happening, rather than the aftermath. Vines and foliage entangle cities, as large wooden mech-like creatures called Arethusa (named after one of the mythical Greek Hesperides that tended the gardens in a remote corner of the world) rampage through cities. Our main character is Souma Shin, a punk kid out of Japan. We start off with him coming to visit his twin (?) brother Ken. All hell breaks loose as Shin finds a group of small kids being used for military purposes, and tries to save them in the confusion created by an Arethusa invading the compound. Several hundred years have passed since the fierce battles using Mobile Suits throughout the universe. After many wars, earthlings forgot how to make developments in their own civilization. Some humans moved to the moon. For a very, very long time, they dreamed about returning to earth. When Planet Earth regained its standard of living to that of the days of the Industrial Revolution, Diana Soler, the Queen of the Moon entered into negotiations with the head of Planet Earth so that the Moon Race could return. She also secretly dispatched a reconnaissance troop to check the environmental and living conditions on Planet Earth. Rolland Seac came to Earth as part of the troop. Almost drowned in a river, he was saved by two beautiful sisters, Kiel and Sosie. After the accident, he started working for a mine, owned by the father of these sisters. He soon gets used to living on Planet Earth. Two years pass and the Moon Race who are becoming impatient with the slow negotiations takes action and forcefully tries to return to Earth. Flames engulf the streets. The "Turned 'A' Gundam" appears from the White Doll Ruins and Rolland finds himself riding it. He becomes the savior of Planet Earth. Rolland's struggle to avoid war between the Moon and Planet Earth begins.
