Nanami is secretly in love with her upperclassmen Higashi. Upon a rainy graduation from her middle school, she resolves to confess to him, but instead she merely trades his green umbrella against her own. Afterwards they become friends, but not quite a couple yet. To her chagrin Nanami didn't manage to get into the same school as Higashi, but she still hopes that their relathionship might deepen. Things complicate themselves when a classmate of Nanami tries to win her over and Higashi's former girlfriend shows up again.
