Itsuki Hashima is a novelist who’s hopelessly enamored with the idea of little sisters and is constantly surrounded by colorful characters. A world class genius and love-guru who’s beauty almost seems a waste on her. A girl who’s constantly troubled by her friendships, love interests, and can’t even find refuge in her dreams. A ridiculously talented illustrator. Each of them have as many problems and worries as the next and they never have a dull day together as they play games, travel, and work together. From the same author of the famous I Don’t Have Many Friends, Yomi Hirasaka! *Source: Yen Press, Vol. 1*
The cute little bird I bought at a pet store is a reincarnated sage from another world. Given the opportunity to cross to another world with the power of magic, Sasaki brings modern goods to the other world and starts a business. While traveling back and forth between worlds - earning money, training in magic, and eating delicious food - he aims to live a leisurely, slow life. But one day, on his way home from work, he encounters an alien being. He uses the magic of the Sage Seal to survive the battle, but his abilities are recognized and he is scouted by the Cabinet Office's Bureau of Countermeasures for Supernatural Phenomena. Otherworldly fantasy x battle of super-power abilities x love comedy with an age gap (?). There's also a magical girl, a neighbor JC, a coworker JK, a nobleman, a loli witch, a prince, etc… It's a story that goes back and forth between the fantasy world and modern Japan, with all the tropes of the genre thrown in. Yokodera is just like every teenage boy: perversion is in his nature. He can't help but look up girls' skirts and fantasize about them. However, in his case, every time he does something perverted, it somehow gets turned around and misunderstood as something positive for the community. Sick of being so perverted, he tries to shake free of it by going to a special part of town. On top of a hill, away from the town and at the foot of a large tree, there is a wooden sculpture of a beckoning cat that is said to have special powers. Instead of bringing a wish to the user like a typical beckoning cat, it takes something from the user, and, in Yokodera's case, his perversion. Still doubtful, he uses the beckoning cat thinking that it couldn't hurt to try, but, little does he know, his life is about to make a turn to the unexpected. (Source: MangaHelpers)
Hazuki Kagimura is a normal girl who is usually alone. Her relationship with her new family is not going so well, so she retreats every day to the world of stories and books. One day, after school, one of the library's bookshelves sends her to another world with a magic school, where she meets Shizuka Tsuchimikado. She finds out that girls (called "mädchen") who attend the school are selected by old fairy tales and folk stories to wield their magic, and are taught how to wield it in the school. The school has girls who are chosen by such stories as Kaguya-hime no Monogatari, Issun-bōshi, Der Freischütz, Shuten-dōji, The Little Matchstick Girl, The Gigantic Turnip, Arthurian legends, and The Ramayana. Hazuki herself is chosen by the Cinderella story. She begins her new life at the school to become a magic user, and be friends with Shizuka. (Source: Anime News Network)
