In order to attend a university in Tokyo, Hirokazu Naibara moved away from his parent's home in Miyagi prefecture and has begun living by himself in a apartment in Saitama. But from the minute he moved in, he began getting calls from an unknown number. This happens over and over until he answers and hears a girl's voice on the other end saying, "I'm Mary-san, and I'm at the dump right now. I'm the doll that you threw away....." He hangs up, thinking it was a prank call... only to have phone start ringing again and again. Apparently, the party on the other end is calling while gradually making its way to him?! Night passes, and its now the next day. When he awakes and answers the phone that's already rung countless times, the voice on the other end says, "I'm Mary-san, and I'm in front of your apartment right now." Then, the moment he hears this, the voice begins saying a strange prayer outside his front door... It seems Mary-san became an urban legend after being transmigrated to another world, and he has to call her from Saitama to give her advice?! Thus begins the chronicles of a young girl and a college student who, while connected via their smartphones, attempt to take down the Demon King! Source: Takeshobo
