By the king’s royal decree, the young and clever princess, Lena, set out on a grand quest escorted by knights to map the land’s remote regions. After the massacre of her assigned guards by an unknown group, Lena was assisted by the mercenary Dahl. While it was questionable whether Dahl was trying to do his job properly, he still managed to avoid spirits, chased away bandits; he even managed to grasp the conniving conspiracy of the imperial court while escorting the princess. Hikikomori-tachi ni Ore no Seishun ga Honrou Sareteiru centers around Haruya Aoi, who was bullied as a kid, but helped by Shihane Mizudori, who intimidated everybody. Eventually Haruya had to move away, and they were separated. Six years later, in high school, Haruya moves back to the neighborhood, and meets Shihane, but finds that she has become a shut-in. "Naruse wa Tenka wo Tori ni Iku" is a coming-of-age story set in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, depicting the exploits of Naruse, a girl who pushes ahead on her own path with all her might. Her childhood friend, Shimazaki, has been by Naruse's side since elementary school, and has witnessed Naruse's eccentric behavior leading to isolation as an eccentric.
