A collection of brief stories. Most of them feature girls attending school, but there are several supernatural stories in the collection as well. Some stories are about clubs. One girl has no friends, due to her frightening appearance and demeanor, until she meets a Norwegian exchange student with an interest in Hanafuda (Japanese cards). One girl joins a newspaper club that may be more (or less) than meets the eye. Other stories feature small difficulties in the girls's lives, such as a girl in a large family who wants to wear a pretty dress, or a strange change in school uniforms.
The happenings in the day-to-day life of a my-pace OL are woven together with cynical humour in another of Okaya Izumi's offerings.
