Kouya Torame is a high school student attending school in Asakusa, Tokyo. One day, a transfer student named Kiyoko Shizuishi arrives in his class. She is a beautiful girl making waves with rumors that she successfully turned around the management of a long-established traditional inn in Kyoto. The whole class is buzzing with excitement, but Kouya can’t shake a nagging feeling. Have I met her somewhere before...? As it turns out, she is a girl he spent time with by chance when they were young, and to top it off, she will now be living under the exact same roof as him! Kiyoko has grown into a quintessential "Would you care for some bubuzuke?" type of Kyoto beauty—perfectly polite on the surface but delightfully sharp underneath. Sparks fly as her two-faced nature clashes with Kouya's straightforward Tokyoite spirit. Get ready for a spirited and snarky downtown romantic comedy!

The story opens in a burning Berlin in 1945. The "Golden Beast", who had performed the miracle of resurrection there, was interested in a secret operation, which was being carried out in secret. The name of the operation is "Werewolf". In modern day Suwahara City, Erii Honjou has taken fond of a man named Shirou Yusa. As they shared their story, Honjou familiy relation to the city and Shirou, a man who had killed someone as a child, their story become intertwine with the mysterious "Werewolf". *Note: Includes 3 extra chapters.*
