Some of them, including the current Shinsengumi members, smell like beasts to Jinrou, and they seem to have unusual abilities. The plot follows the adventures of Isamu Akai and his Pokémon (Clefairy, Pikachu and Tyrogue) in Sinnoh. It is chiefly a gag manga using crude humor and slapstick.
