[MTL] The author faced herself by drawing a manga about the experience of painful past and how it has been affecting her. When she was one, parents divorced because of her father's domestic violence against her mother. When she was eight, her mother remarried. The author was sexually abused by her step father when she was in 4th grade of elementary school. Growing up being abused and having a neglectful mother, she got despair and had suicidal thoughts. Her motivation to continue drawing manga is to convert "sadness," "emptiness," "loneliness" and "feelings of dying" into "anger" as a way to escape from hardships. She got married and had a family, but was undecided to give birth. She was unconscious and feared that she would become a mother like her mother. The experience of being abused as a child and the anxieties and worries about becoming a mother are spelled out.
