"Death is what I want. I want to die." In the midst of a hopeless war, a young girl named Korou became a fighter pilot to "die". She was assigned to one of the country's elite units, led by Kano, "the man who won't die." Enemy bombers attack with overwhelming air superiority. Korou, who repeatedly flies into battle without regard to danger, was kept "alive" by her comrades. As she absorbed their skills and developed as a pilot, she was soon lauded as the "Lord of the Skies." (Source: GA Bunko, translated)
One day, Ikuto wakes up to find Kentaro, a senior in high school, standing in front of him, calling his name and smiling warmly. The strange thing is, Ikuto has no idea who Kentaro is. Confused, Ikuto bluntly asks, "Who the hell are ya?" However, no one around him seems to find anything odd, as if Kentaro's presence is perfectly normal. Ikuto is left feeling isolated in his confusion. To make matters more unsettling, Kentaro leans in closer and asks, "Did ya really forget me?"
