His name is Mentaro Ikeda, who works at a trading company and loves noodles like no other. He is commonly known as a handsome man. All troubles and hassles can be solved with a bowl of noodles.

Set in modern-day Tokyo, the main character, who works for an advertising agency, enjoys drinking and snacks while enjoying interactions with the regulars and the owner at a bar with a U-shaped counter called "U-no-ji Sakaba." The story depicts how he relieves his worries at work.
