"Naruse wa Tenka wo Tori ni Iku" is a coming-of-age story set in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, depicting the exploits of Naruse, a girl who pushes ahead on her own path with all her might. Her childhood friend, Shimazaki, has been by Naruse's side since elementary school, and has witnessed Naruse's eccentric behavior leading to isolation as an eccentric.
