“NIMBY”(not in my backyard) phenomenon, bribery, corruption is rampant in imaginary villages called Dongdok (east village) and Seodok (west village). Expensive condos comprise Dongdok, and in Seodok , they are mostly cheap housing projects. All they care about is whether their land value is going up or down, and the education of the kids is not their priority. The principal and the director of the board at Dokil high school only care about how many students get enrolled at colleges.
