She lives with a professor who always has a bear mask on and goes on daily adventures outside to learn new emotions. As she becomes friends with all the people in her town, she is able to sync up their emotions with hers and downloads it into her own data file. With each new friend she makes and every connection Gifuko makes with them, she becomes closer to becoming human.
On his first day of high school, Kyousuke Akazaki is elated when a cute girl, Teru Aoi, greets him by seeming to ask him out. Unfortunately, he soon realizes that what she really meant was that she wanted him to be a hero of justice with her, and help her assemble a student team of 5 "heros" to fight for "the future peace of the school". Kyousuke, now known as "Red", is reluctantly dragged along with her crazy plans to make their school a better place.
