11 years have passed since the clash at Sekigahara and the power of the country is divided up between the Tokugawa family and Toyotomi family. Sanada Yukimura, a lord under the Tokugawa family, is one of the few people that senses a war will start in the next few years and that the Tokugawa side will lose. Unwilling to keep siding with the losing side, Yukimura decides that the time to prepare for the upcoming war is now and tasks his most trusted agent, Sarutobi Sasuke, with an important mission. Sasuke must assemble 10 of the strongest warriors of the country to create an elite team against the war with Tokugawa that will decide the fate of the country.
This one-shot originally appeared in 1975 as textless illustrations in the Japanese book (エッセイ集 微熱少年) which contains a collection of essays written by former Happy End member Takashi Matsumoto. In later re-releases of this one-shot, additional Japanese text would be added to some of the one-shot's pages.
A one-shot pilot manga, made in Summer 1997, involving battles between more-or-less holographic Digimon. However, this manga was published as a special in volume two of Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01, where an omake page by the author explained that the hero of this manga, Kentarou Kamon, was the source and inspiration for the design and character of Taichi Yagami, the protagonist of V-Tamer 01.
