The main character, Riku Kuyama, who had worked hard as a student after losing his parents, decided to live in a boarding house. And there is a handsome but misanthropic programmer geek, Tosaka Akimichi. In fact, he has another side to him that Riku has never imagined!

Minoru's parents want to move to Las Vegas so her father can have a last shot at his fighting career. Minoru has recently started at high school and doesn't really feel like leaving Japan, although she doesn't have much reason to stay either. While feeling down about the choice, she follows a girl from her school into an arcade out of curiosity. Minoru ends up playing against the girl at a fighting game. The girl introduces herself as Shijou and explains that she's aiming to become a pro-gamer. Shijou recognizes that Minoru has talent and invites her to team up with her. (Source: Batoto)

The story is set in a distant future where Japan is divided into feudal territories and conquered by other countries. There is a floating city named Musashi that is composed of eight ships in the skies. A war that will determine the fate of the world will be fought by students on the Musashi. Hiiro is a cycling enthusiast and has been riding since he could remember, being heavily influenced by his dad, Katsu who is a professional cyclist. Hiiro and his riding partner and best friend, Kisou, have been cycling fanatics and even watched Zeus Strong win the Tour de France in awe. They learn he is coming to their country to compete in the Japan Cup which Katsu is also racing in and Katsu promises Hiiro a win. However, Zeus Strong dominates Katsu and crushingly defeats him. The heartbroken Katsu promises to Hiiro that he will go train for a year and return to him with a championship.
