The Sword Art Online Comic Anthology is a comic anthology of Sword Art Online-themed short, independent manga stories by various illustrators, published under the Dengeki Comics imprint.
Manga based on the life of Homare Sawa, the captain of Japan's 2011 World Cup winning women's soccer team. The heroine, Kaede, is modeled after Sawa and follows her from her school years, when she dreams of winning medals at the World Cup and Olympics. She makes friends through the sport and, despite setbacks, never gives up on her ambitions.
The story takes place in a world ruled by people who possess "Lua," supernatural powers granted by the gods. Ceska, a multilingual speaker who understands every language, attends an academy for the children of royalty and rulers from various nations. She also works as an interpreter. Meanwhile, Shiki, the prince of a nation whose people have no Lua and are called "Yaguu" and endure harsh discrimination, enrolls at the academy. Driven by a desire to befriend Shiki, Ceska actively converses with him, gradually closing the distance between them. However, a certain phrase uttered by Shiki triggers a massive shift in the world… This fantasy weaves its tale around Ceska, a genius linguist, and Shiki, the handsome prince of an oppressed people. Hundreds of years ago, 48 sexual positions were created and named, it is the equivalent to the Japanese kamasutra. It is likely that these moves were devised during the Edo period (1603-1868), reflecting the 48 set of moves that Sumo wrestling recognizes. 48 different manga artists came together and created one shots for each different position.
