Rejected and humiliated by the male classmate he liked, Yuuji is having the worst day of his life. In Hathaway's Flash Hathaway Noa, still haunted by his past actions (not to mention the spirt of deceased Newtype Quess Paraya), joins a terrorist organization called Mafty and adopts the false name "Mafty Navue Erin". The organization Mafty is fighting a terrorist campaign against the Earth Federation government, and they are eventually able to acquire the incredibly powerful prototype Ξ Gundam, which Hathaway becomes the pilot of. Using the Ξ Gundam Mafty attempts to attack a meeting of high-ranking Federation cabinet members in Adelaide, Australia to force them to vote down a provision which would strengthen the Federations already considerable powers. As a point to note, this novel focuses on a version of events chronicled in creator Yoshiyuki Tomino's novelized form of Char's Counterattack, rather than his animated movie version, and as such, several discrepancies can be found between the animated work and this novel, making it more of a semi-canonical UC storyline, rather than 100% official canon. Sagara Yuichi is an aspiring writer who was caught in a convenience store robbery. Despite having the chance to escape, he lingered to gain writers experience, and ended up getting stabbed. During his last breath, a strange guy appeared claiming it was fate. A few hours later he awakens and finds himself sleeping naked next to that strange guy. Then that strange guy tells him that his blood is "S-Class" and that he's going to be Yuichi's lifetime "partner". Will the pragmatic novelist be able to wrap his mind around all this...?!
The novelization contains four sections: The first section covers Yuugi solving the Millennium Puzzle. The second section covers Yuugi's first encounter with Seto Kaiba from the manga. The third section covers the second encounter with Kaiba in Kaiba Land. It omits many areas that don't deal with the card game. The fourth section is an original story, occurring only in the novel. Two weeks after Yuugi's battle with Kaiba in Kaiba Land, Yuugi gets a call from Kaiba, who tells him to meet for a Duel at the top floor of the KaibaCorp. Yuugi accepts, and when the duel begins, they use a special variation called the "Bingo Rule," which prevents the used of a specific card in each player's deck. Kaiba seems to be himself, but plays a different trump card, the "Automatic Giant." Mokuba stumbles in on them, and tells Yuugi that Kaiba has not yet awoken from his catatonic state. It turns out that the Kaiba that Yuugi is playing against is a Cyber Kaiba, controlled by the KaibaCorp computer, and using all of Kaiba's memories. *Manga adaptation of the second novel in Kyougoku Natsuhiko's award-winning Kyougokudou Series.* Right after the war, Showa era in Japan. Kusumoto Yoriko and Yuzuki Kanako who attend an all girls school plan to take the last train to go to the lake. However, Kanako ends up getting run over by the train. Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Detective Kiba who happened to be there when it happened, is asked to watch the confused Yoriko. Kiba goes with the worried Yoriko to the hospital Kanako is taken to, and there Kiba meets a woman who calls herself Kanako's sister; Yuzuki Youko. That happened to be the actress Kiba had been admiring, Minami Kinuko.
