Kobayashi Chihiro, a fifth-grader, notices that Hanzawa-san opens her eyes more when she isn't concentrating. Chihiro starts a boring conversation to make this happen in front of their classmates, but Hanzawa-san stays sleepy, meaning she's still focused. When Chihiro realizes why, she takes action accordingly.
