The title story, Gouyoku na Megami, tells a story of the cost of the obsession with female youth and beauty. The main character, high schooler Miharu, is not especially pretty. She lives with her mother and older sister who have their own appearance-related issues, and a father who is almost always at work. One day, Miharu makes friends with a beautiful classmate named Asaka, who is the daughter of one of her mother's former classmates.
