Note: This work is a substantial remake of Tokyo Jikan. In 1945, an atomic bomb was dropped on Tokyo. In 1989, the Shouwa era didn't end. When a doppelgänger appears and meets with his double, an explosion occurs which changes the world's history. Tokio is a mysterious person who travels in time in order to find and stop these doppelgängers. He then meets a female morgue worker and a detective. The three are called by Masaki Urashima, only to be told an aeroplane will explode in two days.

The manga takes place in the tumultuous Bakumatsu era, in the final years of the Edo period. The manga centers on a mysterious boy named Kudan, who can hear the voices in people's hearts, and who gets wrapped up in the waves of history.
