In the year 19XX, a new celestial body has been discovered in the same orbit as Earth. Dubbed "Planet Deimon" after its discoverer, Doctor Deimon, the planet's orbit soon slows, coming into close proximity with Earth. After a severe storm, the planet becomes Earth's second satellite. Doctor Deimon's son, Rock, organizes an expedition to explore the new planet and discovers that there are two races of sentient beings living on Deimon. The "Epumu", a race of avian people with the ability to fly, and the "Ruboroom", a race of metamorphic clay men who are slaves to the "Epumu". After his first journey to Deimon, Rock adopts a baby "Epumu" chick named "Chiko" and raises him, learning more about Deimon culture and the differences between human and "Epumu" civilization. However, as the conflict between the people of Earth and the people of Deimon escalate, Rock becomes the ambassador for the two worlds and attempts to find a way to bring peace to everyone.

Professor Hanamaru went to Egypt to investigate a conspiracy group hiding in the pyramids. The leader, King Rocket, is a monster with a mechanical body who is plotting to melt the ice in Antarctica and freeze Japan. The professor fights alongside the robot dog Poppy and the boy Ryu-chan.

Brothers Tetsuo and Akio, who were camping in the mountains, meet a mysterious boy named Piron. Piron is actually the prince of the star Castor in the Gemini constellation. His father was displaced from power by minister Valles, and Piron escaped to Earth with Mira, his robot companion. Tetsuo and Akio, along with Mira, decide to help and protect Piron from Valles' assassins, who are sent to Earth after him.

Roppu was a toy abandoned by the child of aliens. He was rediscovered by Roppei, the son of a fisherman. Roppu can fly when the button on his chest on is pressed. Roppu can also create anything, even things thought to be impossible. When the star on his head is pressed, Roppu falls still. Roppu and Roppei have all sorts of adventures, with questionable figures often trying to get their hands on Roppu for their own desires. Volume 2 includes "Bongo" (First Grader version): Bongo is a boy who lives in the jungle and is a master archer entrusted with maintaining peace in the jungle. Bongo learns of a treasure called the Golden Bow, and goes in search of it along with his ally Chap the Squirrel. The two must overcome seven perils to reach it at the Mountain of the Sinking Moon.

"Chief Detective Kenichi" is a detective Manga in which boy detective Kenichi clears up a lot of mysteries and tricks, and settles cases. Kenichi is the chief detective of Boy Detectives' Street Society, which has 26 branches nationwide. Always with him is Donguri, a myna bird. Donguri can reproduce the voice of a person it hears only once more precisely than a tape recorder. It can also go to high or narrow places, and wins wild birds over to its side. It is a reliable "right-hand bird" for Kenichi. Kenichi and Donguri first face a radioactive fish case at Mount Oharai, and next search for the cursed secret treasure of Gandhara in the hinterlands of India. Starts with the story of a scientist kidnapped by martians to help them with their experiments. The second story is about a professor and a young boy traveling through Egypt when they stumble across a mystery – but it’s done slapstick comedy style.
