Japan's population is becoming older. With the advances in medicine and technology, the average age of an individual has steadily risen, but the birth rate has dropped significantly since the "baby boomer" generation. This leads to a natural imbalance between the elderly versus the younger, working class population. What becomes necessary are people like Onda Momotarou to nurse the elderly gentlemen and ladies that are becoming increasingly senile. His introduction into the "industry" of taking care of the elderly was shocking. What he saw was an elderly man being tied down to a bed for his own safety, while the nurses and caretakers consider this a "necessary evil." Momotarou is determined to help the elderly and bring back their smiles. (Source: MangaHelpers)

The life of a Japanese salary-man or OL (Office Lady) can be a thoroughly depressing one. Waking up early, working all day, staying out late for (mandatory) drinks with clients and coworkers, and then catching a few hours of sleep if you're lucky, only to repeat it again and again and again... This is a story of a "Single" OL and her pitiful lifestyle.
The show centers around mecha and re-imagines the ten prospective idols as fighter pilots of those robots, eight of them also posing as students. The large robots in this case are called IDOLs and their pilots are called Idolmasters. In the show, Haruka Amami, initially under confident with herself, passes an audition to be a singing idol and she is sent to Tokyo to start a career in the entertainment. She does not know that the agency that recruited her is actually a front for a big task force which uses robots to save the Earth from falling fragmented pieces of the moon. Yukiho Hagiwara and Iori Minase, who also want to be idols, are also taken by the same task force. (Source: Wikipedia)
Tamotsu Sugawara, a corporate employee who can't say no to anything, finds himself unable to go to work and decides to recuperate for a while at his family's shrine. One night, a ghost that looks exactly like Makoto Hiiragi, a university student working part-time at the shrine during the day, appears before him. A horror-inspired romantic comedy linking a former "yes-man" corporate employee and a female university student suspected of being a living spirit (!?) ♡
