Tamako Manazashi, a strong-willed and energetic track and field athlete. Minato Takahama, a boy who doesn’t believe in the occult. The two are childhood friends who live next door to each other and are both high school sophomores attending the same school. Their hectic daily lives, filled with preparations for the National High School Championships and college entrance exams, take an unexpected turn following an incident that occurs on a rainy day— For their annual summer vacation research project, the two choose a theme: “Bringing a deceased teacher back to life”!?
