With the second coming of the Demon King of Tyranny, Dilhade is finally at peace, but sightings of dragons, which were thought to be extinct, have been reported all over Azesion. When the Demon King Academy and Hero Academy team up to deal with the creatures, they discover an unknown world beneath the ground. Meanwhile, a mysterious man with a god by his side appears before Anos. The man, a draconid, tells him of the Selection, a trial in which eight gods summon representatives to fight each other and the victor becomes a proxy of the gods, and of how Anos has been chosen as one of the representatives. Anos pursues the man to the underground world—the divine capital, Gaelahesta—where he takes down his new “rival” and befriends the familiar yet not-so-familiar god…

Although he thought his reincarnation was complete, Anos soon realizes he can’t recall fragments of his past. With the help of Arcana and her stolen power, he dives into a dream, where he finds a younger and far less skilled version of his current self fighting bravely to protect his beloved sister. Whether by coincidence or fate, that sister’s name is Arcana—the same name as the Selection God fighting alongside him. To determine the truth of these memories and to learn more about the underground world, Anos takes the students of the Demon King Academy on a trip to Jiordal, Kingdom of the Divine Dragon, where the ruler declares Arcana the reincarnation of the Militia, Goddess of Creation. So who is Arcana? Is she the Goddess of Creation, or is she his sister? The truth is yet to be seen…

In order to stop Jiordal from attacking the surface, the dome that covered the underground world was turned into an eternal existence through the power of the Sword of the Almighty. But once the dome was removed from the order of the world, earthrain began to fall, threatening to destroy all life in the underground world. To prevent such tragedy, Anos and his followers head towards one of the three major nations of the underground world: Agatha, the land of knights ruled by an all-seeing prophet. There, they encounter a draconid fated to be sacrificed to the dragons—dragons that consume enough sources give birth to “dragonborn.” What will happen when Anos and everyone meet these dragonborn meant to support the entire underground world? Thanks to the power of the people’s wishes extending past kingdom borders, destruction was avoided, and peace has fallen upon the underground world. But there are many unsolved mysteries surrounding the death of the Goddess of Creation, the remaining Selected Eight, and the identity of the self-proclaimed father of the Demon King. Anos and his followers head back underground in search of clues and discover the existence of Erial—Stars of Creation that have Anos’s missing memories sealed within them. But the land where the stars are hidden is controlled by the Sorcerer King, a powerful demon from the Mythical Age.
