However, her life changes forever when she’s abruptly spirited away to a world of magic and terrible danger. There, she meets Erik, a handsome young man who studies this land’s magic script. He offers to help her find a way back to Earth, but in exchange, he wants her to teach him Japanese. With their bargain struck, the pair sets out for Farsas, the kingdom of magic, beginning an adventure of fantasy and language.

Hoping to find some hint as to how to return to Japan there, they manage to receive an audience with King Lars where, in a terrible twist, Shizuku is declared an unacceptable anomaly. Will she be able to convince Lars of her humanity? And why does Eric seem to know the inside of Farsus Castle so well?

Without her protector, Erik, Shizuku must search for a solution alone...but failure means a gruesome death!
