Every society has its hierarchy, and college student Suchan Jang is at the top of the human one. But despite his popularity and charisma, he has a secret that keeps him from getting close with others—under his clothes lies a pair of dragonfly wings! And when he’s forced to expose them to save the girl he likes, Suchan suddenly finds himself plummeting to the bottom of the food chain. It is then, alone and at his lowest point, that he is introduced to a hidden society of fellow human-insect hybrids. But when the two of them follow it to an abandoned warehouse, they quickly realize their luck was too good to be true. Lying in wait for them is a carnivorous insect-human— and he’s about to make Huijin his next meal!

Suchan and Dohwa managed to escape Breeder’s forced feeding attempt—but that was only the beginning of Pet Shop’s malevolent agenda. Upon learning the rumored whereabouts of one of their bases, NEST professors decide to send a team to investigate. And what better way to determine the most qualified students than through a group tournament?! Suchan, Huijin, Dohwa, and Hyeseong are far from easy pickings, but against opponents who are willing to flout the rules and play dirty, can they still come out on top…?

The good news: The task force has safely made it out of the trap Pet Shop had set for them on Black Rock Island. The bad news: Suchan had to go into full-on berserk mode to do so…and now he has been labeled a threat by NEST! Branding Suchan a ticking time bomb, most of the professors want him quarantined before he can become a risk—save for Professor Ji. In order to prove his student isn’t the monster they think he is, Professor Ji must fight Suchan, even if that means trying to kill him. Unbeknownst to NEST, though, death looms around another corner—Pet Shop is back, and this time they’re bringing the battle to campus. Their target? Professor Ji…!

Feed-trained and yet retaining their rationality, these overpowered monsters have no qualms about blowing up innocent citizens and slashing down anyone who gets in their way. The dust settles in the wake of the Predators’ carnage, leaving Professor Ji in a coma and the school’s entire supply of Cinderella plundered. NEST has taken a severe hit—but they’re not down for the count. And what better way to get revenge on a much stronger enemy than an ambush? All Suchan and his friends need is a way off campus and the element of surprise…which is easier said than done with a traitor in their midst!

As the insect-human college students welcome a new semester, they are in turn greeted by the consequences and fruits of their previous labors. Suchan has found camaraderie and support in Huijin and friends, Professor Ji is absent after his sacrifice left him in a coma, and Breeder and his Predators have been brought to a standstill. Or…have they? Unbeknownst to NEST, Breeder is simply lying in wait for his seed of chaos to grow. And the moment of truth comes when the fear and insecurity he sowed in a force-fed Suchan sprout into terror and panic…Isolated, alone, and accused of giving in to his feed training, will Suchan play right into Breeder’s hands? Or will he fall into the clutches of a mysterious new anti-NEST group first?

After defeating the infiltrators while blacked out, Suchan’s fear over the consequences of his force-feeding grows—but before he can learn to control it and return to his idyllic NEST life, M.A.S.K wages an all-out war on the Stray Dogs! Unbeknownst to him, NEST is becoming increasingly hostile towards Suchan, as the rumors of his role in the murder of a member of Propolis continues to circulate. With both M.A.S.K and NEST against him, will Suchan be able to survive and find his way home? Or will he once again lose his rationality and succumb to the blackout?
