Annette’s mother is revealed to be tangled up in cloak-and-dagger matters herself, enemy spies and military intelligence are closing in from all sides, Monika thinks the whole charade is too risky and is willing to fight Thea to put a stop to it, and Klaus has probably caught on to what the dangerously independent half of Lamplight are up to…It’s starting to seem like the girls’ extracurricular espionage is not going to simply end with a happy family reunion. But just maybe, if “Dreamspeaker” Thea manages things right and the team plays to its strengths, Forgetter and Lamplight will come out of this fiasco better spies than ever…!
