Blade of Shuriken

Reggie Byers self-published comic about the Japanese-American martial artist Kyoko Shidara, who is tired from working as a bodyguard for a criminal organization (The Organization) and decides to become a freelance bodyguard instead. In one of her assignments , she meets his brother Koji after many years and discovers that he has became a assassin for hire for the yakuza. She tries to talk with him and get him out of that life. The story is continued in Blade of Shuriken, published by Eternity.

After her work as bodyguard in Blade of Shuriken, Kyoko Shidara, aka Shuriken, is hired to protect a computer programmer with a revolutionary new program, Project Bedlam. When the thief called Balance intervenes and the result threatens the world, Libra and the Japanese supergroup Kokutai join forces with Shuriken to put things right.
