Yahiro spends his lonely days working as a salvager in the wreckage of Japan. Despite routinely being gutted by Moujuu, the monstrous beasts that roam the ruins, he makes it home every night without a scratch on him thanks to his body’s mysterious regenerative powers. But one evening, he’s ambushed by twin girls named Giuli and Rosé. And these supposed “art dealers” have a dangerous mission for him—something only he can help them with.

Tasked with taking out the leader of the Moujuu—the Kushinada—Yahiro and his party have ventured deep into the ruinous 23 Wards. They’re greeted by two shocking sights: a vegetable garden and a Japanese girl riding a Moujuu. Yahiro manages to talk with her—until they find themselves under siege by RMS. Whoever this girl is, she matters. Now, if only she and Yahiro could get on the same page…!
