A collection of rather gothic short stories by Hagio in her early career days. The title story is about Lucas, who seems like any ordinary boy except for the fact that he has not accepted the death of his twin brother, Alois. Yuji and Eucie were twin sisters whose bodies were joined together by a divine twist of fate. Yuji was the smart sister, while Eucie was the beautiful one. One day, at the age of 13, Yuji decided to have surgery to separate from Eucie in order to live life on her own. A collection of 10 masterpiece stories, including the title story. "Ragini," about a dreamy love song spun by a computer. "Manatsu no Yo no Planet" is a one-act play between four men and four women on the lush garden planet Oberon.
